SABRINA COOPER
FOUNDER TRUSTEE

Post Graduate in Commerce specialised in Business Administration Bachelor of Education Fashion Designer from NIFT As a trained Steward Of Children, Sabrina has been involved in Social Justice especially in the case of children. She has done in-depth studies on Child Abuse in India. More than 20 years of dedication to Social causes, contributes to Child Welfare Schemes and sponsors children's education - Keep The Child in School Program. The children She has been sponsoring since 2003 are now in college one of whom - Mitesh Parmar is studying Bachelor in Financial Market, Namrata who is in Ruia College of Commerce and Arts, Saloni Gaikwad studying in std X, and many more Sabrina is in the process of Launching a Nation Wide Campaign Against Child Abuse. Her efforts are towards ensuring a Child Safe Environment. Frustrated with the system of overcrowded government-run orphanages, she resolves to set up a home for children with an environment conducive to growth and development. Working for the development of the less privileged has always been an important aspect of her life. She has been helping and supporting the children from urban slums and other vulnerable communities. Her vision is to bring about growth and development of the less privileged.

KAISERENE MARSH

Kaiserene has long and wide ranging experience in the education of children and Child Support. She believes that Children are the living messages we send to the future, Our most valuable resources, they are our future. No child should be allowed to live in an abusive environment. She has spent a large part of her life supporting various child related causes and Sponsoring Childrens Education. She quotes Nelson Mandela - “There can be no keener revelation of a society's soul than the way in which it treats its children."

    SANJIV SWARUP

    Sanjiv is an alumni of St. Xaviers ( Kolkata ), and Lodha & Co. ( Chartered Accounting firm ).

    After 20 yrs in Jamnagar in the abrasives industry, he moved to Mumbai as a management consultant. He has since evolved into an entreprenuer, angel investor and now venture-capitalist.

    SUNIL NEWATIA

    Was born in Kolkata in a middle class marwari family. Graduated in 1987 and did PG in Marketing Management at JBIMS.

    Started his own business in 1990 of distribution of Auto consumables and diversified into Heavy Infra equipment in 1996. The company is now one of the leading distributors of Infra machinery in the country.

    Sunil hails from a philanthropist family. His parents have been regularly donating to Nirmala Sansthan, Rajasthan. They are involved in various social activities. His Spouse was involved in NAB for several years.

    He is actively involved in Sponsor a Girl Child and other social causes.

  • JOSHI JOHANAS

    Rev. Joshi Johnas is an active children's worker with a wealth of knowledge and experience of over four decades. He began his career in the pharmaceutical industry as a Medical Representative and rose to the position Regional Sales Manager.

    After twenty years of involvement in the pharmaceutical industry, he decided to move into serving children on a full time basis. He has served in international organizations Scripture Union, Children Bible Ministries.

    Has Developed Curriculum for Children in Sunday schools “SPLASH” for CEEFI (Christian Education Department of Evangelical Fellowship of India) and for Orphan kids with David C. Cook.

    He is trained in Marriage and Family Counseling from the Institute for Behavioral and Management Sciences, Innovative teaching Methods, Healing of Emotional Wounds. , Value Based Sexual Education and now authorized facilitator for Stewards of Children "Darkness to Light".

  • NIDHI SOBTI

    Nidhi is a trained health psychologist, counsellor and public health researcher.

    Postgraduate in Health Psychology from University College London and King's College London, in a joint program.

    Conducted a study under the guidance of Prof. John Wienman and Prof. Janet Treasure at the Eating Disorders Unit of the Institute of Psychiatry. London. In March 2011, Nidhi was selected to join a team of researchers as Research Assistant at the MRC Centre of Epidemiology and Biostatistics in the Pediatric Opthalmology Department at the UCL Institute of Child Health London. Here she worked on a Quality of Life Program for Children and Young People with a Visual Impairment.

    In April 2012, Nidhi relocated back to India in order to apply her education, training, experience and skills to the Indian setting.

    Presently Head Mistress of St. Mary’s Convent Shanti Sadan School Lonavala. Teaching was my dream from my childhood. “learn not only to earn but to serve the society” This words of my father inspired me to take up teaching.

    ~ Ideal Teacher Award from Shiv Kranti Kamgar Association in the year 2010.
    ~ Teacher’s Gungaurav Award from Holy Name Church, Pune in the year 2011.
    ~ Best Teacher Award from Rotary Club in the year 2012.
    ~ Best Teacher Award from Lion’s Club, Lonavala-Khandala in the year 2015.
    Veena believes in Three ‘S’ in life that is Self-Confidence, Strength, Skill and with that there is no impossible word in her Life’s Dictionary. She says that one should believe that nothing is impossible in this World. Her principles are The Four “D’s” that is: Discipline, Determination, Devotion & Dedication.
